A year and a half ago I got engaged and a month after that I got drunk and decided to start a blog about planning the wedding. Now I am married, and writing my very last post as The Guilt-Edged Bride.

How it went down (Part 2)

Wow, well Part 1 turned out to be the Gone With The Wind of blog posts. 2,000 words and just when you think it’s over, it isn’t.

So, to give you a break, I’ve made Part 2 a visual post, interspersed with only a little bit of inconsequential rambling on my part. So, here goes – How To Make Our Wedding.

The eye of the storm

It’s only one month to go and suddenly all that worrying about themes, table centrepieces and what azaleas are seems a distant memory. This is the eye of the wedding storm, people!

I thought I had so much time left before the big day rolled round. I had planned to write an entire blog post just about fringes. FRINGES. Then Christmas and new year passed in a blur of sherry and Lindor truffles and I realised that the fringe babble ship has very much sailed. S**t’s just got real.
